Technical Operational Manager
A technical operations manager is a leadership position in the technical department of an organization. These individuals are responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing organizational technical processes from start to finish. Technical operations managers are responsible for maintaining the technical goals of the company and address any future potential needs
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor daily and monthly computer operating systems.
- Prepare reports and ensure optimal performance and maintain records of service level agreements for customers.
- Design, implement and ensure efficient maintenance and ensure compliance to all disaster recovery plans.
- Perform appropriate tests and provide training to upgrade product quality and standardize all artifacts.
- Assist technical staff to check and ensure resolution of all issues to achieve all objectives.
- Administer all spheres of OC physical planning, provide security and backup for recovering systems.
- Determine availability of systems and IT network application process.
- Design and maintain all It processes according operation policies through standardization of methods.
- Maintain and prepare all paperwork for various activities and provide performance backup to retrieve data in case of emergency.
- Participate and manage all communication IS technical direction and initiatives.
- Monitor all communication for each customer to assess operations within timeframe.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
- Strong technical skills with 3-6 years hands-on design
- Provides leadership and technical oversight to Batch, NOC, and Site Reliability Engineering staff day to day activities.

- Provides mentoring, coaching and guidance to staff.
- Collaborates with various engineering and business teams to improve business outcomes
- Competent in foundational technologies and standards for the specific functional area focusing on technology trends and best practices.
- Manages work to ensure staff levels and budgets are in place in support of operational activities such as upgrade schedules, patching, monitoring services, operational metrics, SLAs, incident management and documentation.
- Works effectively with service vendors and IT service functions to ensure superior service (meeting or exceeding SLAs) delivery for functional area’s core technologies and support services.
- Drives continuous improvement and reliable systems through development of automated solutions for complex systems.
- Ability to manage incidents and problems that impact operations or have the potential to be business critical if not addressed.
